Presentations!!!!

Some good news for our group: our presentation has been moved to Wednesday so we have a couple days to practice presenting and get everything in order.

We have everything just about finished for the semester.

Storyboard animatic----done!

Environment designs----done!

Character designs----done! (the adorable characters in the cover image are all Allison's work!)

Effects tested----done! (even if further testing is needed in the future)

Unfortunately, the main character didn't get done in time to get pushed through the pipeline.

Also unfortunately, the quick test of our pipeline didn't happen either.

I modeled a simple bookshelf. Allison textured it. Ryan rigged it to move.

But whenever we opened the file, the rig broke off from the model! Sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldn't. When referencing, the rig would move the bookshelf just fine, but we couldn't move the referenced file around the scene without the rig breaking off. We're not sure what the problem is, but after testing it A LOT, we're pretty sure it's the model itself that is somehow a problem. First thing we are going to do this summer is start the pipeline over with a new model.
